HALLOWEEN MAGIC POTION SWAMP PUNCH
Kids will love this “magical” Halloween punch with its glowing worm-filled ice ring!
Swamp Punch:
1 cup boiling water
2 packages, 4-serving size each, lime gelatin
3 cups
cold water
1-1/2 quarts carbonated lemon-lime (sprite or 7-up) beverage, chilled
Pour boiling water over gelatin and stir until dissolved. Stir in cold water. Pour into punch bowl. Add lemon-lime beverage and stir; mixture will foam for a few minutes. Unmold ice ring (see recipe below) by dipping bottom of mold briefly into hot water. Float ice ring in punch. Serve cups of punch garnished with gummy worms. Serves 10-15.
Creepy Crawler Ice Ring
1 cup gummy worms or other creepy crawler candy
1 quart lemon-lime Gatorade or other thirst quencher drink
Arrange gummy worms in bottom of 5 cup ring mold; fill with Gatorade.
Freeze until solid, 8 hours or overnight.
